I think Natsume fans would be happy about this ending. Yet, since this manga is all about Natsume, I was hopeful that the ending will be somewhat satisfying.
The anime gave the typical safe answer: we leave it up to the viewers who she picks, and I didn’t want that to happen again. Halfway through reading the manga, I was a bit worried about not getting the closure I want due to the fact that the anime and manga have the same set-up between them. Similarly, it is like when the groom sees the bride in her wedding dress for the first time as she walks down the aisle.
When she goes to move into the Sunrise Apartments, she meets her new brothers: All 13 of them Brothers Conflict began as a series of novels, divided into two cours: the first one is set when Ema is in high school, while the second has Ema. That moment is highly symbolic because someone could interpret it as, “Their relationship is fated for marriage.” Moreover, that scene is one of my favorites out of the whole anime because you can witness how much Natsume is mesmerized by Ema’s beauty. Ema Hinatas father has decided to remarry a woman named Miwa Asahina. Natsume and Ema met on the aisle of a hall church. Why I think so is because both the manga and the anime emphasize their first encounter with each other. On a side note though, I felt like the anime favored Natsume as the right guy for Ema. Hence, as readers, we are able to see the process of how Natsume falls for Ema. However, it is told in Natsume’s viewpoint, revealing his thoughts and emotions. He is the CEO of a video game company that created one of Ema’s favorite video games. Each chapter aligns with what happened in the anime regarding Natsume and Ema. He lives alone with two cats named after his brothers.
Natsume is the fraternal triplet of Tsubaki and Azusa. Unlike the anime which is told in Ema’s perspective, this special manga edition is told in the perspective of Natsume Asahina. They are family, but it doesn’t stop any of the brothers from having feelings for her. Ema must adapt to living with all these boys under the same roof. Ema’s father remarried and she acquires thirteen step-brothers. The concept of the story is still the same. So I decided to read one of many possible endings, Brothers Conflict Feat. Also, I can’t afford importing the first and second seasons of the Brothers Conflict light novels. When Chii’s father remarried, she gained more than just a stepmother - she also became the stepsister to thirteen brothers! And as if her now massively-sized family isn’t enough to handle, the girl also learns that they’ll be moving in together! Chii’s new brothers are eager to help her feel welcome, but with everyone living together without parental supervision, the arrangement might lead to more than just new friendships. The anime wasn’t enough for me. As they live under the same roof, romance is starting to grow between Ema and the Asahina brothers. Since she doesn't want to disturb them, Ema decides to move out and live with her 13 new brothers in a mansion called Sunrise Residence. One day, Ema learns that Rintarou is going to remarry with a successful apparel maker named Asahina Miwa. Hinata Ema is the only daughter of a famous adventurer, Hinata Rintarou. Going on with their lives, the brother’s feelings for Ema start change and could be the start of a romance or being close friends. Ema intended to live peacefully with them as a family, but the sudden appearance of a girl in an all male household causes a uproar. After her dad remarries, Ema moves into the Asahina Family House and acquires 13 brothers.
